SUPERNOVA

This 1940s terraced property, previously housing the iconic Vorstadt Cafe, has got a new tenant. the 'Belezza Group' commissioned us to design their latest outlet, an indoor and outdoor restaurant right in the heart of Munich's bohemian and young Schwabing. The layout orientates itself around a small bar and spills out from there into a very homely and private guest area. All NZ details play with the relationship between steel and wood built in joinery and eclectic soft furnishing. The desire of an eccentric Italo touched style is reflected within the specifically designed banquet seatings, lamp shades and wall hangings. All Surface finishes  are either hand made or reclaimed, which helped to achieve an immediate comfortable and cosy environment. Outdoor areas have been defined by introducing an English canopy together with fixed joinery and planters. It turned into a revelation for locals and visitors in no time.
